The Sacraments

Confirmation

Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of Christian initiation—along with Baptism and the Eucharist and brings a person into the fullness of life in the Church. At its heart, Confirmation is the special outpouring of the Holy Spirit, strengthening the baptized person to live as a mature witness of Christ. The Catechism describes it as completing baptismal grace and binding the person more perfectly to the Church.

Young Catholics in our parish can apply for Confirmation from Year 9 onwards. If you are interested, then please speak with Deacon Terry.

If you are older but not yet received the sacrament of Confirmation, then again see Deacon Terry and we can look at the best way for you to prepare for the sacrament.
